We are currently field-testing a new Polish Vocabulary Test (receptive + productive), which will become the 17th language in our multilingual test programme.

Take the test ...
• just for fun
• as homework
• out of curiosity
• or as part of a class activity

We need around 200 additional participants to complete the current trial phase.

Why this matters?

The Polish test follows our established frequency-based design:

• 1000-word frequency bands (1k - 5k)
• alignment with established Vocabulary Levels Test concept
• separate measurement of receptive and productive vocabulary
• cross-linguistic comparability (soon 17 languages in one shared framework)

Over the past months we have completed:

• training of item writers and reviewers
• structured item development and internal revision
• L1 pilot testing and follow-up revision

We are now in the large-scale field-testing phase.
The collected data will allow us to conduct the psychometric analyses needed to:

• identify misfitting items
• improve scale precision
• strengthen construct validity
• finalise a robust version

After revision, the Polish receptive and productive tests will become a thoroughly validated and freely accessible diagnostic instrument within our multilingual framework.
