[SlawKaus] Stipendien für Sommerkurse in Griechischer Sprache 2025 – Universität Zypern

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
das Sprachzentrum der Universität Zypern vergibt für den Sommer 2025 erneut zehn Stipendien für Studierende von Universitäten mit Neogräzistikprogrammen – Bewerbungen sind bis zum 25. Mai über die jeweiligen Verantwortlichen einzureichen (ich stehe als solcher dafür zur Verfügung).
Im vergangenen Jahr hat eine unserer Studierenden ein solches Stipendium erhalten – sowohl sie selbst als auch wir waren mit dem Programm und der Betreuung sehr zufrieden. Unterrichtet wird Standardgriechisch (leider kein Zypriotisch).

ΠΡΌΣΚΛΗΣΗ ΥΠΟΒΟΛΗΣ ΑΙΤΗΣΕΩΝ



ΥΠΟΤΡΟΦΙΕΣ ΓΙΑ ΤΑ ΘΕΡΙΝΑ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΑ ΕΚΜΑΘΗΣΗΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΓΛΩΣΣΑΣ 2025



Το Σχολείο Ελληνικής Γλώσσας του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου προσφέρει και φέτος δέκα (10) υποτροφίες σε φοιτητές πανεπιστημίων του εξωτερικού, στα οποία λειτουργούν προγράμματα Νεοελληνικών Σπουδών.

Σκοπός της υποτροφίας είναι η διά ζώσης παρακολούθηση των θερινών προγραμμάτων που θα διεξαχθούν από την 30ή Ιουνίου έως την 8η Αυγούστου 2025. Τα μαθήματα πραγματοποιούνται καθημερινά, από Δευτέρα έως Παρασκευή, από 09:00 έως 14:00.



Η υποτροφία περιλαμβάνει:

  1.  Κάλυψη διδάκτρων, ύψους €400.
  2.  Χρηματικό ποσό €1.000 για κάλυψη εξόδων αεροπορικών εισιτηρίων, διαμονής (στις φοιτητικές εστίες του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, εφόσον υπάρχει διαθεσιμότητα), τελών εγγραφής (€25) και μετακινήσεων.
  3.  Η Γραμματεία του Σχολείου θα ενημερώσει τους υποτρόφους για τη διαθεσιμότητα των εστιών και τις διαδικασίες επικοινωνίας με το Γραφείο Στέγασης.
  4.  Συμμετοχή χωρίς επιπλέον κόστος σε εκπαιδευτικές και πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες κάθε Σαββατοκύριακο (εκδρομές σε αρχαιολογικούς χώρους, επισκέψεις σε μουσεία, παρακολούθηση εκδηλώσεων στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Πανεπιστημίου κ.ά.).


Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις

  *   Η υποτροφία προσφέρεται μία μόνο φορά ανά φοιτητή.


Διαδικασία Υποβολής Αιτήσεων

Οι αιτήσεις υποβάλλονται αποκλειστικά από τον/την ακαδημαϊκό συντονιστή ή τον/την πρόεδρο των προγραμμάτων Νεοελληνικών Σπουδών των ενδιαφερόμενων πανεπιστημίων. Η αίτηση πρέπει να περιλαμβάνει:

  *   Ονοματεπώνυμα των υποψηφίων
  *   Σταθμισμένο μέσο όρο βαθμολογίας (ΣΜΟ)
  *   Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα
  *   Επίπεδο γνώσης της ελληνικής γλώσσας
  *   Βεβαίωση ότι οι υποψήφιοι δεν έχουν λάβει την ίδια υποτροφία στο παρελθόν.


Για το 2025, γίνονται δεκτές αιτήσεις μόνο για τα επίπεδα Α1, Α2 ή Β1. Οι υποψήφιοι για τα επίπεδα Α2 και Β1 θα συμμετάσχουν σε διαγνωστική εξέταση, προκειμένου να προσδιοριστεί το κατάλληλο επίπεδο.



Προθεσμία

Παρακαλούμε να αποστείλετε τις αιτήσεις μέχρι την 25η Μαΐου 2025. Τα αποτελέσματα της επιλογής θα ανακοινωθούν εντός μιας εβδομάδας από τη λήξη της προθεσμίας.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE 2025 SUMMER PROGRAMMES IN GREEK LANGUAGE



The School of Modern Greek of the University of Cyprus is pleased to offer once again ten (10) scholarships to students from universities abroad that host programmes in Modern Greek Studies.

The purpose of the scholarship is to enable in-person attendance of the summer courses, which will be held from 30 June to 8 August 2025. Classes are held Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00.



Scholarship Benefits

  1.  Full tuition coverage, amounting to €400.
  2.  A grant of €1,000, intended to cover the cost of airfare, accommodation (in the University of Cyprus student halls, subject to availability), registration fees (€25), and local transportation.
  3.  The Secretariat of the School will inform selected students about accommodation availability and the procedure for contacting the Housing Office.
  4.  Free participation in weekend educational and cultural activities, including excursions to archaeological sites, visits to museums, and attendance at cultural events (e.g. at the University’s Cultural Centre).


Terms and Conditions

  *   Each student may receive this scholarship only once.


Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted exclusively by the academic coordinator or the head of the Modern Greek Studies programme at the respective university. Each application must include:

  *   Full names of the nominees
  *   Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)
  *   A brief CV
  *   The student’s current level of proficiency in Greek
  *   A statement confirming that the nominees have not received this scholarship in the past


For 2025, applications will be accepted only for levels A1, A2, or B1. Applicants for A2 or B1 must sit a placement test to determine the appropriate level of instruction.



Deadline

Please submit all applications by 25 May 2025. The selected candidates will be announced within one week after the deadline.
