untenstehend leite ich Ihnen die Ausschreibung für zwei Sommerschulen 
weiter, die das Europäische Netzwerk Erinnerung und Solidarität (ENRS) 
dieses Jahr für junge Erwachsene organisiert. Bewerbungen können für 
beide Projekte noch *bis zum 6. Mai* online eingereicht werden. Alle

The European Network Remembrance and Solidarity is organising two free 
summer schools in 2025 for students and young professionals in the arts 
and humanities aged 18-26. We would be grateful if you could share the 
information on the open calls with any potentially interested students.

*where: *Görlitz / Zgorzelec

The participants will visit the so-called European City of 
Görlitz/Zgorzelec to conduct research on the German-Polish borderland, 
focusing on border landscapes. Methodological workshops on oral history 
and interdisciplinary lectures prepare them for interviews they record 
with experts and history witnesses on spot. To capture their research 
results, participants produce an artistic podcast.

*where: *Bremen and Paris; Prague and Paris

An interdisciplinary project that provides an opportunity to study the 
phenomenon of underground literature and art from the Cold War period – 
known as /samizdat/ and /tamizdat. /Through participation in online 
seminars, on-site archival research, interviews with former publishers 
and creative workshops, participants will work to gather material and 
conclude the visits with the collaborative creation of a zine.

ENRS fosters dialogue on 20th-century European history by organising a 
wide range of projects, from exhibitions and publications to workshops, 
study visits and conferences. We appreciate your support in helping us 
share these unique opportunities with your students and young professionals.
