Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament haben in Polen einmal
mehr die tiefen politischen Gräben im Land aufgezeigt.
Zugleich sind die Wahlen bereits die Ankündigung für die
Parlamentswahlen im Herbst dieses Jahres und die
Präsidentschaftswahlen im nächsten Jahr. In diesem
Kontext will der Vortrag die Gründe für diese scharfen
gesellschaftlichen Gegensätze untersuchen, die sich seit
Jahren mehr und mehr verfestigen. <br>

wenn innenpolitische Motive das Wahlergebnis wesentlich
beeinflusst haben dürften, haben Vorstellungen über die
EU und Europa im Wahlkampf auch eine Rolle gespielt.
Daher werden auch der Diskurs über die europäische
Integration und die Wahrnehmung der EU mit in die
Analyse einfließen. Schließlich wird der Vortrag auch
die Auswirkungen des Wahlergebnisses auf das
Rechtsstaatsverfahren gegen Polen und auf
Reformvorschläge der EU untersuchen.</span></span></div>
