[SlawKaus] Talk this Thursday: Phraseme constructions in Ukrainian

this Thursday, on 21.11.24, there will be a talk on the topic *Phraseme
constructions in Ukrainian: types, functions, and identification in corpora*
by *Hanna Sytar*. The talk takes place as a part of the research seminar in
Slavic linguistics at our institute. Hanna Sytar is a researcher at the
Department of Slavonic Linguistics and Lexicography at the Institute of
Slavonic Studies of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague.
Please be advised *that the talk will be delivered in Ukrainian, and the
presentation slides will be in English.*

*Annotation*: The study is focused on analyzing phraseme constructions,
i.e., syntactic idioms, in Modern Ukrainian viewed from the construction
grammar perspective. The following aspects are presented: the features of
syntactic idioms, their structural and semantic types, their pragmatic
potential, and the ways in which they are constructed in Ukrainian. I will
explain how phraseme constructions сan be identified in the Ukrainian
National Linguistic Corpus and the General Regionally Annotated Corpus of
Ukrainian.
