Subject: [NMR-user] LOGS back in service

Dear NMR users,

after a crash of the server last week, we could reactivate LOGS during the weekend and clear the problem that caused the permanent slowdown. There might be still some delays, but we hope that the data transfer is back to normal now. Please, inform us directly (nmr-service at uni-jena.de) if you notice an issue. due to a failure in the autosampler the open access NMR I in ZAF is not available today. We will inform you once the device is back in order. Please plan accordingly. The samples which were queued for measurement on the device, but could not be measured since yesterday will be processed in the service platform today.

Lieber NMR-NutzerInnen,

wir werden ab Mitte Juli eine neue Software zur Auftragsbearbeitung und Server-Organisation (Datenzugriff und -speicherung) einsetzen, das Programm SciPeaks (EPFL Lausanne). In der Praxis wird sich dabei für Sie nur teilweise etwas ändern, aber um Ihnen Benutzeroberfläche und Funktionen von SciPeaks zu demonstrieren führen wir in den nächsten Wochen zwei Schulungen durch, zu denen Sie herzlich eingeladen sind.

Thema: Kurzvorstellung und Einführung in die Nutzung der ELN/LIMS-Software SciPeaks für die Auftrags-Bearbeitung und Spektren-Visualisierung der NMR-Abteilung


  1.  Termin: Benutzerschulung am Freitag, 3. Juli, 14.15 Uhr (HS IAAC)
  2.  Termin: Benutzerschulung am Freitag, 10. Juli, 12.15 Uhr (HS Helmholtzweg 4)

Dear NMR users:

Starting mid of July, we will use another software for the handling of sample requests and server organization (data access and storage). The new system, SciPeaks (EPFL Lausanne), will not impose a lot of changes for your NMR workflow, but we will provide you with an introduction to user interface and functionality of SciPeaks during the next weeks. We invite you to attend these user trainings.

Topic: Short introduction how to use the ELN/LIMS software SciPeaks for NMR sample requests and more


  1.  User training on Friday, 3rd of July, 2:15 pm (lecture hall IAAC),
