Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

We are looking for fascinating ideas and projects for the Falling Walls
Lab Jülich on 24 September 2018!

 

In collaboration with the Falling Walls Foundation, Forschungszentrum
Jülich is hosting again an international Lab.  Bachelor´s and master’s
students, doctoral researchers, postdocs, and young entrepreneurs of any
discipline are welcome to participate.

 

The task is to make the most of three minutes’ time and present a
research project, a business idea, or a social initiative to a prominent
panel of judges from universities, industry, and media. The best three
presenters will compete against the winners from the other international
Falling Walls Labs in the Grand Finale, which will take place in Berlin
on 8 November, and will have the opportunity to participate in the
Falling Walls Conference on 9 November.

 

 

*Important facts about Falling Walls Lab Jülich: *

 

  * Bachelor’s and master’s students, doctoral researchers, postdocs,
    and young entrepreneurs of any discipline can apply.
  * Applications can be registered at: www.falling-walls.com/apply
    <http://www.falling-walls.com/apply>
  * The qualifying Lab will take place in Jülich on 24 September 2018.
  * The presentations may include a maximum of three slides and will be
    held in English.
  * The presentation must not take longer than three minutes.
  * The best three presenters at the Falling Walls Lab Jülich will
    qualify for the Finale in Berlin on 8 November 2018 and will have
    the opportunity to take part in the main conference on the next day.
  * Expenses for the conference, travel, and accommodation in Berlin
    will be paid.
  * The deadline for applications is 15 June 2018.

·         If an applicant has made a presentation at an international
Falling Walls Lab or at the Falling Walls Lab Finale before January
2018, she/he is unfortunately not allowed to apply/participate again.
