There are some very basic example XSDs shipped with the application, but I guess we can provide you with some more complex ones from our projects (BE, iDiv). I'll check on that and let you know tomorrow. Ideally, the schema should come in a single XSD file with no external references (see the online help for Data Collection, section 5). If the schema is spread over multiple files, all files should be pushed to the server first by using the "Push Big File" Upload. Once the import metadata wizard has been completed successfully, the new schema will be available, for example, in the Create Dataset Workflow. The metadata entry form is automatically created by the application based on the element definition in the XSD. In order to make the Search work with the new schema mappings between the metadata elements of the schema and new (or existing) search attributes are needed. Please open the Search Manager from the Settings Menu and follow the instructions in the help. If you need any further help, feel free to contact us any time. We will also share the Biodiversity Exploratories Schema here at the list within the next couple of days. The BE data management team still needs to do some small changes to adapt it to the BEXIS 2 system.
