Subject: [BEXIS2-Dev] BEXIS2 coordination workshop

Dear BEXIS2 community,

we would like to set up an online workshop with all data
managers/coordinators maintaining and running BEXIS 2 instances.

The purpose of this workshop is to collect feedback on the current
version (2.14) and plan the next release of BEXIS 2. The overall goal
for the next release (2.15) is to improve usability and user interaction
with BEXIS2. So this is the time to review workflows, perhaps reduce
complexity, or improve ease of use.

A number of usability issues have been reported on GitHub already. Based
on these issues we created a survey:

We kindly ask you to go through the survey and provide your feedback
before the workshop (until 30.10.2020). Of course, you are most welcome
to add further issues and recommendations in GitHub or at the end of the
survey.

During the workshop, we will discuss the results of the survey and
identify the most pressing issues. Also, we will allocate time to think
ahead and discuss the focus of release 2.16.
