Dear all,

*We have released a patch for BEXIS 2.11.0. If you are running BEXIS
2.11.0, we recommend upgrading to version 2.11.1.

The following issues have been fixed:


* - Login with an LDAP account is now working again.- Tooltip is added to
the search result table.- Data API did not return any result.- Metadata
entries with cardinality > 1 were not stored or reordered.- Indexing search
including primary data threw an error.- Units without description were not
visible by the variable creation.- Selecting no Broker in the dropdown
entry in the publication tab threw an error.- Updating metadata form after
selecting the file in a wrong format froze the form.- Entity selection in
the metadata structure manager showed namespace instead of the names.-

Hi all,

I changed the source code based on the different comments. You all were
right, it is not a good practice to have static values inside the
project without the availability to change them.

So, I changed all those values for the EmailService. The email address
that is used to send all notifications can be set inside the
"Credentials.config" within the following path:

<PATH TO WORKSPACE>\General\Configurations\Credentials.config

Please add there the following entry:

<add key="Email_From" value="a at b.c" />

Do not forget to replace the value with a real email address.
Additionally, get the change itself by pulling the last changes on
branch "releases/2.11.1".

thanks, I will test it. Where do I find the latest source code? On Github it is still on 2.11.0 (last commit December 7 in dev and master branch).

Hi,

I am upgading from 2.11 to 2.11.1. I have compared the Web.config with my changed version and have copied the line from 2.11.1:
   <dependentAssembly>
        <assemblyIdentity name="PostSharp" publicKeyToken="b13fd38b8f9c99d7" culture="neutral" />
        <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-5.0.44.0" newVersion="5.0.44.0" />
      </dependentAssembly>

Also I have replaced the whole folder with the website dir.

Now I get
[FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'PostSharp, Version=5.0.44.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b13fd38b8f9c99d7' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)]

The file properties of the supplied PostSharp.dll tell me that it is on 4.3.19.0.  I guess that is the problem.

I am trying to update from 2.11 to 2.11.1. After replacing the Postsharp.dll with version 5.0.44 it starts now (see previous message).
